India Innovates 2026 is the world's largest civic tech hackathon,
organized by HN and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). It invites India's brightest student innovators to bring
working products, prototypes, and breakthrough ideas that can transform governance, security,
and national systems.
This is NOT just a competition — this is your chance to showcase at a national stage
where policy meets innovation, in front of investors, government leaders, bureaucrats, diplomats,
founders, and ecosystem builders at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

What Sets This Apart
This is NOT a build-on-site hackathon. Development must be completed BEFORE 28 March 2026. The finale day
is exclusively for live demonstrations and on-the-spot judging by experts.
Top teams receive FREE exhibition booth space at Bharat Mandapam where they present to
investors, government ministries, and startup founders. Outcomes include
government + political party pitch opportunities, paid government apprenticeships, and
potential full-time role conversions.
